Makeover for Race Walking Record website
09/01/07 12:25 Filed in: Web Consultancy
The four year old design of Race Walking Record has been updated - while porting over the existing content - using Word Press.
Word Press seems pretty much a development of RadioUserland which was used before - which pioneerd blogging software - and in some ways seems less powerful, but is far better supported in terms of plug-in tools and design templates.
Software support is non-existent, compared to he personal service provided by RadioUserland, but is still great software, is quick to update and the output looks really neat.
Still work to do - particularly the Blogroll (curiously no support for OPML?), but I can see the software would be great to provide for a client where they want a simple site they can update (or even add functionality) themselves.
